Responsibilities

 

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients via various channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects to understand their needs.

Requirements

 

  • Must be fluent in English (French is an asset, but not required)
  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in an inside sales role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.

As a Financial Security Advisor, your goal will be to help clients make well informed decisions as it relates to protecting themselves and their family’s financial security. The reality is that throughout our lives, there is the possibility of an unexpected death, a major illness, or maybe even an injury. Our role is to help people and their families build a solid financial security foundation through different insurance solutions and mitigate some for the financial risks associated with such unfortunate circumstances Solutions include life insurance, critical illness, and disability insurance. 

 

Your role

  • To be available to contact new clients promptly
  • Help your clients build a financial security plan 
  • Listen to people’s needs and resolve situations that may be complex
  • Provide advice and offer made-to-measure solutions
  • Demonstrate the ability to build lasting business relationships
  • Direct clients to your colleagues for their specialized needs
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and company policy

You’ll have access to a team of specialist whose ideas and expertise you can draw upon. Weekly team meetings are mandatory for the first 2 years (via Zoom). You will have training and guidance as it relates to marketing initiatives, networking ideas and lead generation.

Required competencies:

  • University diploma or equivalent
  • Licence in insurance of person is required (or working towards achieving it)
  • Mutual fund representative (MFR) licence is an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English an French
